Religious hold over means it is still mildly taboo.

But as you say if you going to eat meat and it taste good to you, why should you care what part of the animal it comes from?

What's the difference between eating the blood and say the leg?

Re: Black Pudding
It is the blood of Pig no ? i would not willingly eat the blood of any animal it is just wrong and unless there is famine in the world it is simply not right, saying that i know of many who see it as integral to any English Breakfast.

Re: Black Pudding
If you refused to eat anything that contained entrails, blood etc you would have to give up Kebabs, Indian food, Chinese food, Mexican food, hot dogs, hamburgers, Saveloys, Pies etc etc etc

Black pudding on a full english is an absolute must

It doesn't get cooked in any steak I'm having. It's still red and liquid in mine.

Re: Black Pudding
The thought of it is pretty minging but...

What do people think happens to the blood/myoglobin in a steak when it's cooked well done. It's doesn't evaporate - it's there, just cooked.

They claim it's dog-free* and ENGLISH, to boot, so it can't be all bad.
